Welcome to the Journey
I am so glad you’re here.
I have so much to share with you. My name is Jenny L. Young and this is the home of my personal journey of non-stop seeking. I became a psychotherapist in order to find the secrets to healing I so desperately wanted for myself. I have been in lifelong pursuit of the sacred and of how the reality of the divine can heal all suffering.
I am currently seeing limited number of clients, while I rebuild my health and wellness. This journey of healing Complex-PTSD and the long term effects of being undiagnosed with autism has been wild and challenging, but also gratifying to learn to love the ugliest parts of myself and the prettiest parts equally.
I want to share all I have discovered and am still discovering with you.
Collage is a fabulous modality that I utilize in processing and transforming trauma. I find images speak so clearly and express both conscious thoughts and those hidden aspects of the unconscious. Through collage, I hope to share with you the lessons I have found most instrumental at bringing clarity and calm to this human experience.
My Collage
“I Can Finally Enjoy The Moment”
“I Can Finally Enjoy the Moment” is a collage created from a contemplative heart. The words and images have been essential expressions and processing portals to deeper awareness. I hope to share with you, through my art and writing the keys to freedom and peace that I have learned and am learning on my path.
“Reaching for Joy”
This collage was a manifestation board, looking forward to a new year with hope. After it was completed and hung on my office wall, an inquisitive client noticed the pattern of reaching repeated throughout the images. I knew I was trying to create more joy in the coming year, but I had not been aware of this!
Clarity Cards use collage and heart-centered writing as guideposts along this journey of being human.
